Madeleine loves to put markers to her face. This first photo is from this past July 2006 when I bought washable markers at the grocery store. Madeleine wanted to play with them in her carseat and it was the most peaceful ride ever home. I had no idea what she had done until I opened the car door and saw her! This next picture is from today, January 2007. Some things never change. I was taking a shower while Madeleine watched Dora and Madeleine had done it again! She thought it was great and laughed and laughed. I had to laugh too. She looked so adorable!
This space once chronicled life with children and our Dallas adventures. Now the kids are grown, and I’m still adventuring — traveling, thinking, and writing — as I learn to trade social media scrolling for slower reflections.
