I saw the OB today, everything is okay, however, when I asked if I could have my encouraging labor prenatal massage that my massage lady does, the OB responded, "Yes, you can have that anytime after your due date." After my due date. Ugh. October 7th, hurry up!

Deuce is nearing his arrival. The official due date is October 7th. The doctor visits are every week now and I am ready for him to come out of my body. Last night I even started packing my hospital bag! We are still working on the baby's room, but around the house Lee installed the last curtain that is to be installed last night! We still have a fan to be installed in the baby's room, but that is all that is left to do! So, tonight I will start sorting and washing clothes and toys and trying to get the baby's room in order.

Madeleine is back in the swing of things with school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She loves the dress up corner in her classroom. She is excited about her baby brother and has started putting toys and books that she doesn't want anymore in his room!

Lee and I are working with an incredible doula, Kathy O'Brien, based on the recommendation of our good friends, Brian and Kristie Gibson. A doula is someone who provides emotional and physical support during the labor and birth process. Our doula has spent two afternoons with us going over massage techniques and I am really looking forward to her help. We will keep you updated!

At a recent family wedding, I had to wear my newly purchased crocs since none of my other shoes will fit my feet. Enjoy the photo!

A summer full of swimming!

Madeleine has loved swimming this summer. We spent Sunday afternoon on Labor Day weekend at Aunt Terri's house and Madeleine was swimming again. She has been taking swimming class every Saturday morning for a year and will continue to take them with cousin Sydney this fall. Though she loves to swim, she hasn't quite figured out the correct way to put on sunglasses (they are upside down).
