We are so blessed to be at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church with the wonderful children's choir. On December 5 at 11:00 am the kids will be singing "Happy Birthday Jesus." Here are the words:
Happy Birthday Jesus. I’m so glad it’s Christmas. All the tinsel and lights, and the presents are nice, but the real gift is you. Happy Birthday Jesus. I’m so glad it’s Christmas. All the carols and bells make the holidays swell, and it’s all about you. Happy Birthday Jesus. Jesus, I love you.
and here is a link to a movie of Everett singing.
This space once chronicled life with children and our Dallas adventures. Now the kids are grown, and I’m still adventuring — traveling, thinking, and writing — as I learn to trade social media scrolling for slower reflections.
