At dinner tonight Madeleine shared that she was scared of Spiderman.
Lee said, "Spiderman? But he's nice, he helps people."
Madeleine said, "I'm a little scared of Spiderman (which sounds like Piderman in Madeleine language). And she made the little motion with her hands (thumb and pointer finger close together)
Then, Madeleine got an inquisitive look on her face and asked, "Does Jesus live with Piderman?"
Lee told her no, but he couldn't remember where Piderman lived. He said that he thought it was Metropolis.
This space once chronicled life with children and our Dallas adventures. Now the kids are grown, and I’m still adventuring — traveling, thinking, and writing — as I learn to trade social media scrolling for slower reflections.

We have this great story how a little spider had nothing to give baby Jesus, so in the middle of the night she placed strands of webbing all over the tree. Everyone woke the next morning to the first tinsel Christmas tree.
So maybe spiderman lives near by.
